About Peta,
The Unicorn

Peta, also known as Pee-Wee the Unicorn, is passionate about helping people find their inner bravery and reach their full potential. Peta is all about fitness being fun and knowing how to play to improve both your physical and mental health.

Peta’s love for physical movement began the moment she could walk when she discovered gymnastics. In her teen years she moved into the world of acrobatic gymnastics and competed at an international level at the age of 16. In her adult years she expanded her repertoire to include circus and trapeze skills, and you can often find her practising these skills on the weekend.

In 2017 Peta was selected as a competitor for Season 1 of Australian Ninja Warrior. Although she wasn’t a finalist, she went on to become and a course tester for season 2.

Peta is currently course testing again for another top-secret television show soon to hit your screens. She is also training to become a stunt woman!

She’s appeared on live TV many times, once talking about her experience with anxiety and depression. 


Peta’s fitness qualifications include:

  • Master Trainer Cert IV in Fitness
  • Cert 3 in Group Fitness
  • Body attack qualified instructor
  • Zumba qualified instructor
  • Punchfit qualifications.

Work Experience

Peta’s work experience in the fitness industry includes:

    • Plus Fitness in group fitness and personal training.
    • Curves as a Circuit Instructor
    • A Stunt Park in Nerang as a Stunt Instructor

Personal Training

Clients will enjoy a professional Personal Training experience with the real Peta Ryan, AKA “The Unicorn”. Sessions are 45 minutes, or longer if the client wishes, and are held outdoors in Manly. Personal Training Sessions can be booked as a single session or as part of a series.
